Our Mission
To serve as a representative body of Muslim students in Kenya, doing its utmost to cater to their needs. We are committed to upholding true Islamic faith, spreading awareness, and forging an integrated, contributing body within the nation.
Our Vision
To unify Muslims in universities and colleges in Kenya. We aspire to create a community that actively contributes to the betterment of Islam in Kenya, enhancing participation, and ensuring knowledge is imparted effectively to our societies.
At AMUCK, we are committed to nurturing confident, principled, and purpose-driven Muslim students. Through daawah, leadership development, and community engagement, we work to strengthen the Muslim identity on campus and beyond. With dedicated student leaders, impactful programs, and a nationwide presence, AMUCK continues to shape a generation rooted in faith, excellence, and service.
The Roots of Our Mission
The foundation of the association was laid in 2021, when an umbrella association was proposed by
the then Chairman of the Muslim Students Association of The Technical University of Kenya (MSA-TUK),
Muhammad A. Salim. His proposal was adopted by his counterparts from other institutions including
University of Nairobi, Mount Kenya University, KCA University, Kenyatta University, Jomo Kenyatta University
of
Agriculture and Technology, Zetech University, Masai Mara University, Moi University, Catholic University of
East Africa and Garissa University.
The Chairpersons then agreed to form the umbrella association and
register it with the Registrar of Societies. AMUCK was officially registered and launched in March 2023 at
the Jamia Mosque Nairobi Multipurpose Hall.
